Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Teleprompter (“the App,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use the App on Android.

Operator / contact: Denys Voloshyn / Vibe Apps
Email: den@vibeapps.pro

This policy is intended for users worldwide, including users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and United States. Where local law provides stronger rights, those rights apply.

1. Overview

Teleprompter is designed as a local-first mobile app:

When you purchase Pro, billing is processed by Google Play. We use RevenueCat to verify purchases and manage subscription entitlements.

2. Information You Create on Your Device

The App lets you create, edit, save, record, preview, delete, and share teleprompter scripts and video recordings. This may include text, video, audio, and app settings.

Stored locally on your device:

We do not upload your scripts or recordings to our servers.

3. Permissions

The App may request:

PermissionPurpose
CameraRecord video
MicrophoneRecord audio with video

These permissions are used only to provide recording features. You can deny them in Android settings; recording features may then be unavailable.

4. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Third-Party Processors

4.1 Google Play Billing

If you buy a subscription or lifetime unlock, payment is handled by Google Play / Google LLC. Google processes payment details under Google’s terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your full payment card number.

4.2 RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to:

In connection with purchases, RevenueCat and/or Google Play may process information such as:

RevenueCat states that purchase-related data is encrypted in transit. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy for their independent practices.

Important: Scripts and video files you create are not sent to RevenueCat as part of normal Pro entitlement checks.

4.3 Why this data is processed

Purchase and entitlement data is processed to:

5. Analytics and Advertising

The App does not currently include third-party advertising SDKs.

We do not currently use a separate analytics product (such as Amplitude) in the shipping build described by this policy. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and relevant Play Console disclosures.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only as follows:

7. International Transfers

Google Play and RevenueCat may process data on servers outside your country (including the United States). Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards used by those providers (for example, standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms).

8. Data Retention

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live (including the EEA/UK and certain U.S. states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal data, and to object or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Because the App is local-first:

You can manage or cancel Google Play subscriptions in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions (or equivalent).

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

11. Security

We rely on Android platform storage, Google Play Billing, and provider security practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device and backups.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our processors, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide in-app or store notice. Continued use after the effective date means you acknowledge the updated policy.
